The Sky Whisperer – Australian Tree Spirit Carving

The Sky Whisperer is a unique Australian tree spirit hand-carved from beautiful mango timber, with a naturally flowing form that gives this character an unmistakable presence.

Standing approximately 27 cm tall, the carving's naturally curved body creates the striking illusion of an ancient spirit arching backwards—as though reaching towards the heavens, speaking to the gods, or listening to whispers carried upon the wind.

The timber's unusual shape became part of the character itself. Rather than forcing the wood into a particular form, the carving works with its natural movement and character, bringing the spirit hidden within the timber to life.

Finished with three coats of burnishing oil, the timber's rich colours, grain patterns, and natural character are enhanced with a warm, lustrous finish.

A mounting hole has been added to the rear, so you can display The Sky Whisperer on a wall or stand it as part of a collection of handcrafted wood spirits and natural artworks.

Every carving is individually created, meaning no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
